Mission and Vision

As the people of God, our purpose is to magnify God’s name, to stand on His Word for direction and reproof, and to bring people to Jesus and to membership in His family. We desire to nurture new believers toward Christian maturity and to equip one another for service in the church, the community, and the world. “…to prepare God’s people for works of service so that the body of Christ may be built up.” (Ephesians 4:12, NIV)

We were founded in 1992 as a Southern Baptist congregation.  Our purpose is to magnify God’s name as His people, to stand on His Word for direction and reproof, and to bring people to Jesus and to membership in His family.  We desire to nurture new believers toward Christian maturity and to equip one another for service in the church, the community and the world.  We are the people of God!  Our church family is both friendly and caring, and we invite you to fellowship with us.

As a Bible-based church, Christian education is a part of all our programs and ministries.  We have several Sunday School classes to provide Bible Study for all ages.  We provide childcare for infants and toddlers during Church Service.  On Wednesday evenings, we offer in depth Bible Studies for Adults as well and Bible lessons for Youth and Children.  Our Worship services reflect a basic belief in the Holy Bible as the divinely inspired, inerrant Word of God.  

As a body of baptized believers in Jesus Christ, we are personally committed to sharing the Good News of Salvation to those who do not know Him.  We are Mission-minded, as evidenced in our name, and continually search for creative ways to reach people for God.  Although we provide programs and ministries to meet the needs of believers, our calling moves us beyond the walls of the Church building into the community and the World.  Reaching people with the Good News of Jesus Christ is our ultimate goal in all we do.  As Kingdom builders, we invite you to come and join us as we strive to reach the goal.

The vision of Bible Missionary Baptist Church is to create a community of authentic believers and as people come to know Jesus as their lord and savior, work to disciple them as we are commanded to do in Scripture.
